To whom It May Concern,
I’ve had the immense pleasure of working with Steve on my feature documentary about the lost civilisation of the Guanches in the Canary Islands (Savages in Foreign Lands). On many occasions he played a key part in the making of this film; from the development with his precious knowledge, to the promotion of the film in the media. I was in contact with him all that time and he never stopped helping me in one way or another with this project.
He is also a lead actor appearing throughout the whole film and gives very knowledgable facts and inspirational thoughts about the subject of the film. His unique voice and appearance also gives a lot of character to the film, which is so important in this medium. The two interviews we did with Steve completed our research and helped us structure the entire film. He also wrote articles about the film and is still helping with it’s promotion in the Canary Islands and on the web (Even three years after the shooting).
His contribution and goodwill is invaluable to this project and if it had to be done again, Steve would be at the top of my list.
All in all, Steve is a great person to work with, very humble and serious with a powerful energy. He is automatically friendly and has a very great sense of humor. He is a great observer, his skills and knowledge cover a very wide spectrum and this is why he is at the best place to be as a writer.
If you’re looking for someone who’s more than a simple writer, someone with a voice and a personality, I would highly recommend Steve! You won’t be disappointed and your project might go further than you expected.

To Whom it May Concern:
I highly recommend Steve Andrews as a professional writer and a candidate for employment. Steve has been employed by Tenerife Weekly as a regular columnist and began working for our company in March 2013. Steve has been responsible for an 800-word column about Gardening and Nature and has supplied photographs to illustrate his articles as well. He has also contributed a number of features about what to see and do on the island of Tenerife. His work has proved to be very popular with readers and has inspired feedback on a number of occasions. Steve has excellent communication skills. In addition, he is extremely organized, reliable and computer literate. He can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done and meets the deadline. Steve is flexible and willing to work on any project that is assigned to him. Steve would be a tremendous asset for your company and has my highest recommendation

To whom it may concern, I’ve worked with Steve on several copy-writing projects and he’s repeatedly proved himself to be a competent and versatile writer who is capable of producing interesting pieces on a variety of topics. He is also a remarkably knowledgeable naturalist with a keen interest in the environment. Steve works well to a brief and is receptive to feedback. He is personable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and contributes key insights into topics where he has expertise; in particular he is in his element when writing about anything to do with the natural world or indeed with the paranormal. Whilst these are two arguably distinct areas, Steve manages to bridge them with his in-depth knowledge as a naturalist and his curiosity and openness to everything weird and wonderful, which is in no small part driven by his fascination with all creatures great and small. I have no hesitation in recommending Steve as a writer, narrator or presenter; he’s an instantly likeable person whose approachable persona comes across in his work both written and oral.
